Ariana Grande has joined with The Tonight Show‘s house band The Roots to perform an emotional tribute to the late Aretha Franklin, who died overnight at the age of 76.
Grande and The Roots honoured the Queen Of Soul with a rendition of Franklin’s 1967 single ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’, after Grande shared a photo of her with Franklin.

Franklin died at her home in Detroit due to advanced pancreatic cancer, her family revealed in a statement. The likes of Elton John, Missy Elliott, Brian Wilson, Justin Timberlake, Cat Power and Christina Aguilera have since paid tribute online.
