Newcastle drummer Kye Smith has nailed another incredible 5-minute performance, this time smashing out Sum 41‘s discography as part of his ‘5 Minute Drum Chronology’ series.
Playing in his studio surrounded by skateboard decks with designs of bands including Frenzal Rhomb and Greenday, Smith starts off with Sum 41’s 2000 record Half Hour Of Power before making his way chronologically all the way through to their 2016 album 13 Voices.
Over the past few years Smith’s series of videos has covered over 20 different bands, with highlights including his Blink-182 chronology, a killer 5 minutes of Foo Fighters, and earlier in 2016 he took on The Living End.
He’s also gone and done Green Day, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Rise Against, Frenzal Rhomb and more, and you can watch them all at his official YouTube Channel.
