Watch Black Sabbath Play Their Final Ever Song Together As A Band

Black Sabbath have finally reached The End. The heavy metal godfathers have played their final ever show and taken their final ever bow at the culmination of their final ever tour in their home city of Birmingham, UK.

OG members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler closed the curtain on their five-decade spanning career with a 15-song set of back catalogue classics, bowing out with the iconic ‘Paranoid’ off their 1970 album of the same name.

With 81 epic tour dates in total — including a handful of stops here in Australia — Sabbath would have raked in even more money than they spent on cocaine in 1972 to stuff their retirement funds with.

ICYMI: original drummer Bill Ward was MIA for proceedings, following an ugly public spat with Ozzy.

Meanwhile, the Prince Of Darkness himself has confirmed plans to continue making music — albeit outside of Sabbath — while the now cancer-free Iommi will at the very least be retiring from touring life, which he’s confessed has taken a pretty big toll on his health.

The end of Black Sabbath’s career comes at a sad time, with the fellas saying goodbye to their longtime bandmate, ex-keyboardist Geoff Nicholls, who died at the age of 68 just weeks ago following a longtime cancer battle.

So raise two devil horns in the air and as you catch Sabbath’s final ever set list and footage of their final curtain call below, or check out the 10 most metal moments of their final Sydney show here.

All hail to the kings of heavy metal.

Bow down.
