Melbourne indie rock outfit Camp Cope have made the trip into the triple j studios for Like A Version, churning out a passionate cover of a classic track from US outfit Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Camp Cope put their own spin on one of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs most well-known tracks, 2003’s Maps, which returned to the public consciousness this year for partly inspiring Beyonce’s 2016 tune Hold Up.
It was a heart-felt and deeply emotive cover from the Melbourne band, who gave their everything to the cover that was a showed off Georgia Maq’s supreme vocal ability.
Whilst in the studio Camp Cope, who were recently confirmed on the lineup for Laneway 2017, also stripped back their own original track Lost: Season One.
