Aussie electronic duo Carmada — that’s LDRU and Yahtzel — have teamed up with Charli XCX on triple j‘s Like A Version this morning.
Aside from their collab with the English pop-star, the Carmada boys also performed a cover of Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s Lean On.
Currently in the country for Groovin The Moo 2015, Charli XCX lent her vocals to Carmada’s original track, On Fire, which originally featured Melbourne singer-songwriter Maribelle. Carmada and Charli XCX were joined by a brass section during their performance (below).
Carmada’s groovin’ cover of Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s Lean On (below) was also bolstered by some guest vocals from Rob Taylor of Sydney duo Wolf Tide.
Both Carmada and Charli XCX are currently touring with Groovin The Moo. Carmada’s Realise tour continues through until the end of May, while Charli XCX still has two Groovin The Moo sideshows up her sleeve.
