The Spice Girls kicked off their reunion tour over the weekend performing in Dublin and to celebrate the revival we’ve all been dreaming of new-age, pop queen, Charli XCX performed a live remix of everyone’s fave, ‘Wannabe’.
Debuting the remix — named ‘Spicy’ — to BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on Saturday night, the snippet we have sounds pretty bloody good. Charli XCX collaborated with Diplo on the track and a studio version of the cover is on its way.

While she was at the BBC Radio 1 event, she also performed with Miley Cyrus on ‘Can’t Stop’ and teased her impending third album.
Chatting to NME at the event, Charli XCX said, “I didn’t go small on this, I really went all in.
“Maybe too in, so I really wanna prep people. Since the mixtapes (Number 1 Angel and Pop 2), I’ve really wanted to push my sound and push pop as far as it can go. I feel really proud of the music that I’ve made, so I really want the songs to have as much of a moment individually as possible.”
Taking to Twitter, she told fans, “Angels, your mother is about to feed you new music for 5 months straight. You deserve it and you’re welcome.”
Are you for real????
