Australia, Childish Gambino, has a very special treat for you. While in the country for his headline Splendour set, Gambino stopped by triple j to perform in a special, mid-week edition of Like A Version. Yeah, it’s a good day.
Gambino and his band took on a rendition of ‘Lost In You’ by Chris Gaines – also known as the soft-rock alter-ego of country mega-star Garth Brooks, which, look is a whole other story in itself.
As expected Gambino’s version of the track is soulful, joyous and will pick you right up from those Tuesday arvo blues. On his last visit to the triple j Like A Version studio, Gambino covered Tamia’s 90s jam ‘So Into You’. Watch both below.
