Following the death of Beastie Boy, Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, artists around the world have paid tribute to the rapper and the Beastie Boys. Coldplay’s Chris Martin has a history of paying tribute to recently deceased artists at his shows and he pulled out a cover of (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party) at their Holywood Bowl show yesterday.
Yauch died after battling cancer for almost 3 years; he was 47 years old.
Yauch will be remembered as one of hip hop’s biggest pioneers and was ahead of his time when it came to sampling.
