On Tuesday night, new wave legend Cyndi Lauper threw her annual ‘Home for the Holidays’ benefit concert in Los Angeles.
Among the evening’s special guests were the Antichrist Superstar himself, Marilyn Manson, and punk icon Henry Rollins, resulting in a few somewhat unlikely but extremely badass onstage collabs.
Lauper joined Manson for a performance of classic ‘The Beautiful People’. Manson kicked off the collab with a gothic rendition of Lauper’s hit ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’.
Rollins and Lauper, meanwhile, teamed up to tackle iconic Black Flag cut ‘Rise Above’, the first song from the band’s 1981 debut studio album Damaged.
In addition to Manson and Rollins, Lauper also performed ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ alongside Kesha. Other guests included Belinda Carlisle, Perry Farrell and King Princess, among others.
Proceeds from the show went to True Colors United, an organisation that fights homeless in the LGBTQ+ youth community.
