US rockers Dashboard Confessional have performed a cover of Amy Shark‘s hit single ‘Adore’ at a recent US show, apparently leaving the Aussie singer-songwriter “in tears”.
Shark shared crowd-shot footage of the emo’d-up cover today, telling fans, “I’m in tears. What an amazing cover! Honoured.” Watch video of the cover, below.
This isn’t the first time Dashboard Confessional and Amy Shark have collided — Shark met frontman Chris Carrabba at a show in the US earlier this year, with a happy snap appearing online:

Amy Shark has recently been working on new music with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus (in Dave Grohl’s studio), and is scheduled to perform at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast later this month.
Dashboard Confessional, on the other hand, toured Australia last year ahead of the release of their latest album Crooked Shadows.
