Dave Grohl‘s mum’s gotten together with a bunch of other famous musos’ mums to write a book all about being the mums of famous musos.
Virginia Hanlon Grohl’s literary debut is dubbed From Cradle To Stage: Stories From The Mothers Who Rocked And Raised Rock Stars and was put together with the help of 18 other rock n’ roll mums, including Dr. Dre’s mum, Rush singer Geddy Lee’s mum, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello’s mum, Adam Levine’s mum, Beastie Boy Mike D’s mum, the late Amy Winehouse’s mum and loads of other mums.
And to celebrate the tome — which looks to be jam-packed full of totally embarrassing childhood stories about your fave artists — hitting shelves, Mama Grohl has recruited her Foo Fighter son for a pretty gosh darn cute new promo clip.
It features a disgruntled Dave, having completed reading the book, phoning his mum to complain about all the horrible things she’s written about him.
He also discusses potentially naming the next Foo Fighters’ album Full Diaper for reasons that will become clear to you after you watch it.
