Watch Divinyls Reunite For A One-Off Show With The Preatures’ Frontwoman On Vocals

Aussie rock royalty reformed in Perth overnight, when members of Divinyls reunited for a one-off show, with The Preatures‘ frontwoman Izzi Manfredi stepping in for the late, great Chrissy Amphlett.

On Sunday, the closing night of the Perth Fashion Festival saw Manfredi become the first singer to perform with Divinyls since Amphett’s death in 2013, joining original band members Mark McEntee, Richard Harvey and Rick Grossman (as well as her Preatures bandmate Jack Moffit) for the band’s first live set in almost 10 years.

Together, the band performed classic Divinyls hits like ‘I Touch Myself’, ‘Pleasure And Pain’ and ‘I’ll Make You Happy’, and you can catch crowd-shot footage and photos from the show down below.

Back when the performance was first announced last month, Manfredi said, “We would’ve moved heaven and earth to do this show. My job is to do Chrissy proud here, but also honour the life of the songs and the original lineup. It’s a moment in time.”

Meanwhile, The Preatures are currently touring the country on their ‘Girlhood’ national tour.
