Watch: Dune Rats In Episode 3 Of ‘Fire Engine Sessions’

First it was DZ Dethrays, then Sticky Fingers. Now, Dune Rats have burst into the streets of Bondi to own the third episode of the Fire Engine Sessions.

The video captures the Brisbane alt-rockers playing their single Fuck It to Bondi’s beachside public. It was the highlight of a four-song set from the band – who have just recently played a series of well-known venues in New York and Los Angeles.

Dune Rats pulled up in the fire engine outside Bondi skate park and began playing to a swarm of school holiday skaters, passing onlookers and a grassy knoll that quickly filled with fans and music lovers.

They then took to the streets, driving along a beachfront route for another 3 songs until retreating back to the Beach Rd for a bottle of Sailor Jerry on the rooftop.

Fire Engine Sessions has taken its inspiration from London’s Black Cab Sessions and Cambodia’s Tuk Tuk Sessions respectively. The idea is to bring live music to fans when they least expect it and give them a memory to last a lifetime.
