Watch Elton John Team Up With ‘Tiny Dancer’ Christine And The Queens At Apple Music Festival

Considering the fact the dude’s been around for 32 full-length albums, you’d be hard pressed to find someone with as much of an ear for talent as Elton John. This has proven totally accurate, after the Piano Man himself tagged rising star Christine And The Queens to duet with him over his timeless ballad Tiny Dancer.

The duet went down at Apple Music Festival in the UK, and the result was a rendition of the track that is even more delicate and touching than ever before. John also gave back to the French singer-songwriter, aiding her for a performance of her own track Tilted.

John explained the matching in an interview with Beats 1 prior to the performance, saying, “I’ve been playing Christine and the Queens since last September, and [they’ve] finally broken England. I saw her at the Roundhouse in the Spring, and she was amazing… Once you see her live on stage, you’re mesmerised.”

John, who would have no trouble at all tagging the biggest names in music to join him on stage, decided to keep with the theme of rising stars. The living legend was joined by Gallant, Rosie Lowe and Parker Millsap for renditions various John-brand mega hits.
