Watch Enter Shikari Cover Muse’s ‘Supermassive Black Hole’

In a performance which has divided punters as to whether it’s “really good” or “murders the original”, English four-piece Enter Shikari have covered Supermassive Black Hole, a track by English three-piece Muse.

Enter Shikari’s take on the 2006 Muse single (below) saw an unexpected reworking of the track, with stripped-back verses, snippets of extra noise and a little less swing than the original. The cover comes ahead of both bands’ appearances at the 2015 Download Festival.

Enter Shikari released their fourth studio album, The Mindsweep, in January this year, toured Australia in May, and spoke to Music Feeds contributor David James Young about being underdogs and dealing with haters on Twitter.

Muse released their seventh studio album, Drones, earlier this week. Catch Enter Shikari’s cover of Supermassive Black Hole, below.
