Watch Flight Facilities & Vic Mensa’s Laneway Festival Mashup

Down To Earth duo Flight Facilities hooked up with Down On My Luck rapper Vic Mensa at the Sydney leg of Laneway Festival, and masterfully reworked their two respective tracks into one, with Mensa on the mic.

Thankfully for anyone who missed Flight Facilities’ set, footage of the Down On My Luck / Down To Earth rework has now appeared online, and is available to view below.

The Chicago-bred Mensa joined Flight Facilities’ Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell on stage to help blend the two tracks together on Sunday night, but it hasn’t been his only surprise guest appearance this week.

Last night, directly following his own headline show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory, Mensa appeared unannounced during Mark Ronson’s sold out DJ set at the same venue, proving he’s never one to sit still. Mensa’s final Laneway sideshow takes place in Melbourne tonight.

Laneway Festival continues in Adelaide tomorrow, before hitting Melbourne and Fremantle over the weekend. Check out photos from the Brisbane leg of the festival below Mensa’s shenanigans.
