Frank Ocean has released a video for his track Lost, made up of concert footage and behind-the-scenes moments as he travels around the world on his 2012 Channel ORANGE tour.
The Francisco Soriano-directed clip is a montage of intimate snippets: a blend of Ocean onstage, on planes and in cars, constantly moving from one location to another, and giving the fans a bit of insight into the singer-songwriter’s life on the road. It finishes up with a pensive Ocean staring at a sunset from the backseat of a car. You can check it out below.
The melancholy moments from Ocean’s 2012 summer provide a harsh contrast to his hectic 2013. The New Orleans-raised crooner is being sued over the track by relatively unknown producer Micah Otano, who claims Lost copies his track Daylight. He’s also had a brawl in an LA studio with Chris Brown and been arrested for traffic offences and marijuana possession. Come on, man – it’s only April! Let’s cross our fingers for less drama and more music from Mr Ocean in the coming months.
