A documentary from the French indie band Phoenix was screened on French TV a few nights ago. The doco, named From a Mess to the Masses, follows the band as they wrote and recorded their last album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
Phoenix have been in the process of readying a new album since early this year, saying in an interview in mid January “We’re starting the new album in just 10 days time. It can take a long time for us to do an album so we want to start it very soon.” Since April they’ve been releasing CCTV stills of themselves recording in the studio.
