Outside of battling ice zombies, dodging dragon fire and dabbling in casual incest, things can get pretty dull in Westeros. And sometimes a pair of unlikely BFFs need to make their own fun.
Presumably during there downtime slaying undead polar bears north of the wall, mismatched road buddies Tormund Giantsbane, Sir Jorah Mormont, Beric Dondarrion and Sandor ‘The Hound’ Clegane have managed to get their hands on an acoustic guitar and — forming an impromptu band — have delivered a heartfelt rendition of Tom Waits‘ classic ballad ‘I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You’ (encapsulating all our feels about The Hound’s blossoming ‘ship with Brienne. Step off m8, #Briemund forever).
Posting footage of the on-set performance on Instagram, actor Kristofer Hivju (Tormund) writes: “BROTHERHOOD WITHOUT BANJOS. This is our latest hit ‘Anthem over season seven end’… Our new album is called: ‘What will fate bring us???'”
It comes after Tormund ‘grammed another acoustic musical interlude featuring himself and Rory McCann (The Hound) performing an abso-fucking-lutely COOKED version of the folk song ‘Yellow Bird’ by Brothers Four.
It’s a legit must-watch. We just saved it as Music Feeds’ new ringtone.
