With the release of Gorillaz new album Humanz came proof that Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher have buried the hatchet from the infamous battle between Blur and Oasis of the 1990s.
Gallagher features on the album alongside Jehnny Beth of Savages on a track called ‘We Got The Power, and now Albarn and Gallagher have performed the track side-by-side live on British television.
Gorillaz stopped by The Graham Norton Show to perform the track, with Albarn joined not only by Beth and Gallagher but a massive group of musicians including a small choir.
After the performance a tired-looking Albarn joined Graham Norton on the couch with Beth, and while chatting about Humanz joked that he and Beth had first met on Tinder.
The chat inevitably turned to Gallagher and Albarn’s relationship, with Norton asking “when did you make up?”, to which Albarn responds “a long time ago” while Gallagher mouths “right now” in the background.
