Adelaide rockers Grenadiers have taken to the triple j studios to knock out a blistering cover of the Bluejuice classic Vitriol, as part of the broadcaster’s weekly covers segment Like A Version.
Grenadiers’ take on the bouncing rhythms of Vitriol (below) saw the three-piece drench the song in their raw punk rock style and smash out the track at full Grenadiers force.
While in the studio, Grenadiers also performed the title track from their second album, Summer, which was released in January. At the time, Music Feeds reviewer David James Young called the album, “A record with a fighter’s spirit.”
