Watch Guy Sebastian Make His ‘Like A Version’ Debut Covering LDRU With Paces

Former Australian Idol winner and Shannon Noll’s nemesis Guy Sebastian has made his triple j debut with a performance on the weekly covers segment Like A Version, teaming up with Gold Coast dance act Paces for a fresh take on LDRU‘s track Keeping Score.

Footage of the pair’s cover (below) sees Sebastian do an impressive job of holding up the lofty melodies of Keeping Score‘s original vocalist Paige IV, while also manning the piano and some dirty synth pads. Nollsie is nowhere to be seen, though, unfortunately…

While in the triple j studio, Paces also performed a stripped-back version of his original track 1993 (No Chill), featuring a steelpan drummer and vocals from Jess Kent. Catch footage of both performances in full, below.

Paces is currently touring the country in support of his debut album, Vacation, with a show still to come in Sydney before he heads to New Zealand.
