Watch Handyman Weird Al Renovate Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’

Pop music parodist Weird Al Yankovic has released the next installment in his busy week of video releases, with a handyman-themed parody of Iggy Azalea‘s Fancy, appropriately titled Handy.

In the partially-animated video for Handy (below) Weird Al is dressed in a blonde wig and handyman’s tool-belt, replacing Iggy’s rhymes with his own. “First things first – I’m a craftsman. Remodeling is my only passion,” he raps. “And I’m the greatest in the business, want referrals yo? My clientele will bear your witness.”

Weird Al goes on to take his “bag of tricks” to busted windows, exploding dishwashers, squeaking floors and leaking pipes. Adding some toilet humour into the song’s instantly recognisable main vocal refrain, Al sings, “I’m so handy, you already know. I’ll fix your plumbing, when your toilets overflow.”

Weird Al’s Handy follows on from yesterday’s Lorde parody Foil, which teased the New Zealand musician’s smash hit Royals into a warning of a crazy Illuminati conspiracy. Earlier this week Yankovic also released a parody of Pharrell’s Happy, titled Tacky, as well as a parody of Robin Thicke‘s 2013 breakthrough hit, Blurred Lines, which Weird Al remade as Word Crimes.
