Watch Jet Play Their Hits At A Surprise Show In Melbourne’s AC/DC Lane

Fresh from announcing a new national tour for the 15th anniversary of their debut album, Aussie rockers Jet have performed an intimate surprise show in Melbourne’s AC/DC Lane.

The performance, which was only announced this morning — a day after Ed Sheeran did a similar thing — saw Nic Cester and company bang out hits like ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’, ‘Cold Hard Bitch’ and ‘Get Me Outta Here’, all under the watchful eye of AC/DC Lane’s new sculpture of former AC/DC frontman Bon Scott.

Watch crowd-shot footage from the show, below.

Jet will tour the country between May and June, when they’ll perform their 2003 album Get Born in its entirety. They will also release the Get Born: Live At The Forum live album in May.

The group disbanded in 2012, but reformed in 2016, and released a bizarre new song with The Bloody Beetroots. The band’s latest album, Shaka Rock, dropped in 2009.
