Watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Killer Drum Solo In A LA Subway Station

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been putting some serious time and effort into his HitRecord “Everyday, Spectacular” campaign.

The campaign has a simple goal, aiming to encourage his fans to create “a piece of art that captures those unmissable, spectacular moments that happen every day.”

His latest effort is a short video showing Gordon-Levitt setting up his drum kit in the middle of a platform and starting to busk a hardcore 40-second drum solo, absolutely shredding it – and proving that he’s even more talented than we possibly could have imagined.

“I played the drums (in a subway) for our ‘Everyday, Spectacular’ project,” reads the video description. “Now, where are all you musicians gonna play your instruments?”

Unfortunately passers didn’t really seem to care, though someone remarked that he looked like fictional American television character Pee-wee Herman.
