Watch Krist Novoselic Join Foo Fighters On Stage To Play ‘Big Me’

Krist Novoselic has joined fellow Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear at a Foo Fighters concert in the US.

Novoselic joined the band on stage in Eugene, Oregon to play ‘Big Me’ off Foo Fighters debut record which was the first album Grohl released outside of Nirvana.

Novoselic almost joined Grohl in Foo Fighters very early on but the pair decided against it before the full band was formed. He has, however, joined the band on a number of occasions, most notably guesting on Foo Fighters’ 2011 record Wasting Light.

It’s not the first time Grohl, Smear and Novoselic have performed together since Kurt Cobain’s death but it’s a very rare outing.

While Smear wasn’t a permanent member of Nirvana, he toured with the band in 1993 and 1994 while the band was touring In Utero.

Novoselic currently making music with his new band Giants In The Trees who dropped their first single earlier this year.

After the performance with Foo Fighters, Novoselic shared a photo of the show captioning it with love hearts alongside a number of videos of the full show.
