Lady Gaga is currently the living embodiment of Superwoman, going back and forth between award ceremonies and her highly successful Vegas residency Enigma, and now she’s given her fans a real bloody treat – the first live performance of ‘Shallow’ with Bradley Cooper.
The hit song taken from A Star Is Born, the film that gave both Gaga and Cooper an Academy Award nomination for their acting as well as one for the song, has been performed by Gaga solo but the two have never duetted live until now.
It was a surprise duet and fans bloody lost it. Gaga was clearly emotional about the performance, and turns out Cooper’s singing voice is just as great as it was in the film.
ICYMI, ‘Shallow’ is absolutely cleaning up this awards season. It has won ‘Best Original Song’ at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards, Satellite Awards, and Hollywood Music in Media Awards. It is also nominated for the award at the BAFTAs and the Oscars. On top of all that, it is also nominated for both ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Record of the Year’ at this year’s GRAMMYs.
In fact, the two are scheduled to perform it at the Oscars marking one of two songs that’ll be performed at the show – the other being Kendrick Lamar & SZA doing their hit ‘All The Stars’ taken from the soundtrack to Black Panther.
