Perth duo Slumberjack have taken to the triple j studios to give M.I.A.‘s hit single ‘Paper Planes’ the Like A Version treatment, covering the song with strings, a special guest and even some Drake lyrics.
Slumberjack’s cover of ‘Paper Planes’ was without the song’s instantly recognisable gunshot samples, but featured their American mate K.Flay, a string ensemble and some lyrics from Drake’s ‘Fake Love’ thrown in for good measure.
While in the triple j studios, Slumberjack also performed their recent single ‘Afraid, Unafraid’. Watch both performances, below.
Slumberjack are taking their second EP Fracture on a national tour between May and June.
