Brendon Small and company are becoming experts in whipping us up into a frenzy ahead of this weekend’s premiere of Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem – A Klok Opera, today putting the first five minutes of the special online.
The Doomstar Requiem is an hour-long special that picks up where season 4 of the cult cartoon left off and you can head on over to the Adult Swim site to watch the video. There’s no spoilers in there, a few gags, some epic music and it will get you chomping at the bit for the remaining 55 minutes, which Small has promised will answer all of those questions that Metalocalypse fans have been harbouring.
Last week Small released Blazing Star, a brand-new Dethklok track that will be available on the accompanying soundtrack to the show, alongside the orchestral movements produced by Small and composer Bear McCreary.
Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem – A Klok Opera airs in the States on 27th October.
