Mumford & Sons have unveiled the video for the third single from their album Babel – Whispers in the Dark.
The video features four different screens with four different stories, each of which follow a member of the band and their pre-concert rituals as they prepare to hit the stage.
As Consequence of Sound reports, frontman Marcus Mumford gets a motorcycle gang escort, Ted Dwane gets a fake beard affixed, Winston Marshall does some sightseeing with the navy, and Ben Lovett goes for a nap in his car before bolting his way to the gig. Check out the video at the bottom of the page.
Mumford & Sons recently joined an elite club when Babel was awarded Album of the Year at the Grammy’s in Los Angeles last month. The band will be headlining T in the Park in Scotland in July, alongside Rihanna and The Killers.
At the end of last year, the band were on the receiving end of a memorable serve from Beady Eye’s Liam Gallagher, who said they “look like they’ve got f**king nits”. Considering that both bands are now booked to play T in the Park, we wonder if there’ll be some sort of awkward greeting if they cross paths backstage…
