NOFX have performed an acoustic set in front of the Los Angeles City Hall during Occupy LA on the weekend. Fat Mike said he wrote this song as a theme song for the movement and performs it for the first time.
Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has also recently made a visit to the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City. He turned up to Wall Street playing tracks under his solo name Nightwatchman, and playing a number of acoustic tracks, and joined with the crowd in a singalong to Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land.
