In addition to unveiling a teaser trailer for the Foo Fighters’ upcoming documentary series, HBO have offered music fans more rock goodness by sharing clips of their recent three-hour 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction special, including footage of Joan Jett performing with Nirvana.
The full special was broadcast over the weekend, giving fans a chance to finally see some professionally shot footage of Nirvana’s much talked-about female fronted performance, which saw the grunge legends joined by Jett, Lorde, Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon, and St Vincent.
In addition to footage of the surviving members of Nirvana tearing through Smells Like Teen Spirit with Joan Jett, HBO have also shared some KISStory, with footage of Tom Morello inducting the hard rock legends, an excerpt of Paul Stanley‘s speech, and an interview with Ace Frehley.
