Homegrown metalcore outfit Parkway Drive have used their performance at Germany’s Rock Am Ring festival on Sunday, 7th June, to knock out a crushing cover of Rage Against The Machine‘s bone-crunching Bulls On Parade.
Parkway Drive’s RATM cover (below) was prefaced by some wise words from frontman Winston McCall, who told the festival crowd:
“This song is by one of the best bands of all time. It’s got one of the fucking best riffs of all time, so I don’t care if you’re at the front or the back, if you haven’t crowd-surfed, if you haven’t been in the fucking mosh today — this is the fucking song for it.”
Today, Parkway Drive announced their highly-anticipated fifth album, Ire, which they’ll touring nationally this September and October. The band say their new album is bigger, heavier and more melodic than anything they’ve done in the past, and have shared a first taste in the form of new song, Vice Grip.
