The world is still reeling in happiness and in melancholy following the release of Phoebe Bridgers‘ latest album Punisher, and now she’s given a unique performance of one of the album’s cuts on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Donning a pair of sunglasses and a helmet, she took to the wheel and did donuts around an empty carpark while performing ‘I See You’.
The album, which has already received widepsread acclaim despite being released only last week, has spawned three singles thus far – ‘Garden Song’, ‘Kyoto’ and ‘I See You’.
Punisher is Bridgers’ first solo album since she released her debut album, Stranger In The Alps, n 2017. Since then, she released a self-titled EP as part of boygenius (Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus) in 2018 as well as a self-titled album with Conor Oberst as part of their project, Better Oblivion Community Center.
