ICYMI (which pretty much everyone did due to massive technical failures this morning), The Preatures were in the house for triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment, and surprised everyone by having a crack at Arcade Fire‘s recent single ‘Everything Now’.
Luckily for everyone whose broadcast crapped out earlier, the full Like A Version video is now online (below) for your listening and viewing pleasure.
As well as busting out a stripped-back rock-flavoured rendition of the toe-tapping Arcade Fire track, Izzi Manfredi and co. also performed their original track ‘Mess It Up’, from their latest album Girlhood.
The performances come ahead of The Preatures’ handful of big ticket live shows across the nation this summer, including stints at the Melbourne and Taronga Zoo Twilights concert series and the Central Coast’s Mountain Sounds festival.
Earlier this month, Manfredi spoke out about her experiences of sexual harassment, after being inspired by other women who have spoken publicly about similar experiences in recent weeks.
