Watch Queens Of The Stone Age (Sort Of) Cover Of Gorillaz’s ‘Clint Eastwood’

Footage has emerged of Queens Of The Stone Age performing a mini-cover of the Gorillaz clasic ‘Clint Eastwood’ during their recent set at Japan’s Fuji Rock festival.

Video of the band paying tribute to Damon Albarn’s animated crew (below) sees QOTSA replace a verse of their song ‘Feel Good Hit Of The Summer’ (From 2000’s Rated R) with lyrics from the 2001 Gorillaz track.

“I ain’t happy, I’m feeling glad / I got sunshine in a bag / I’m useless but not for long / The future is coming on,” frontman Josh Homme sings over the instrumentals for ‘Feel Good…’.

QOTSA were in Australia last month for Splendour In The Grass, as well as handful of their own headline shows. Their upcoming new album Villains, produced by Mark Ronson, arrives on 25th August.
