Melbourne band and triple j favourites Second Hand Heart have released the video for their latest single Trouble.
Directed by Cesar Rodrigues from Blank Tape Music and edited by Derry Sheehan, the clip follows “the hunt, the discovery and realising sometimes what you found is not what you are looking for,” according to their presser.
The band recorded and mixed Trouble earlier this year at Melbourne’s Face Studios, before it was mastered at West Side Music New York, which has previously put the finishing touches on songs from the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear and Angus & Julia Stone.
Second Hand Heart have been making a fair few waves throughout this year: they were nominated a finalist for the Petty Thieves (DZ Deathrays) ‘Track to clip’ competition, were semi-finalists in the Valleyarm A & R Showcase Series, and have received a decent amount of international blog love and airplay.
This Saturday, the band will play a special show for the launch of the clip at Melbourne’s Empress Hotel. Supporting them will be songstresses Esther Holt and Lucy Peach.
