Watch: Shady Lane Debut Clip For ‘Happy Without Controls’ Ahead Of Oxford Art Factory Residency

It’s action all stations over at the Shady Lane camp as of late. In the wake of their 2nd full-length album Built Guilt, the band have unleashed a super fresh clip, and announced a residency at Sydney’s Oxfort Art Factory gallery bar.

For 4 consecutive Fridays, Shady Lane will be laying down their jams for a super spoilt crowd this February. To gee fans up for the shows, as well as hook a horde of new followers, the band have released a video effort for the single Happy Without Controls. It’s a charming ditty with a swelling soundscape and a visual attachment paying homage to some of our underwater brothers and sisters.

Coming along for the ride will be a slew of native talent, including Guerre; Through the Forest Door, featuring Luke from The Laurels; and Melbourne’s The Ocean Party.

Entry will be free, meaning you can save your hard-earned coin for the cheap drinks and the selection of art pieces that will be for sale.
