Last week, Slipknot released sixth studio album We Are Not Your Kind, with second single and closing track ‘Solway Firth’ one of the stand-outs among fans.
The track was performed live for the first time at the band’s recent show at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Illinois, sandwiched between classics ‘Before I Forget’ and ‘The Heretic Anthem’
As Loudwire reports, We Are Not Your Kind is set to be the first Number One album in the UK for Slipknot in 18 years, currently leading the way ahead of Ed Sheeran by 13,000 sales.
“The album’s a masterpiece and it’s taken my whole life to get where I’m at, to be able to put forward what I create the way I do these days,” told percussionist and backing vocalist Michael Shawn Crahan in our interview earlier this month.
