Taylor Swift has shared the latest video clip for her track ‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)’ featuring Chris Stapleton, directed by Swift’s longtime friend Blake Lively.
She’s hot off the back of releasing the highly-anticipated Red (Taylor’s Version), which is a re-recording of her 2012 album Red. It also features a number of tracks hand selected by Swift from her vault, including ‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)’.
Swift and Lively both co-wrote the story for the clip, with this being Lively’s directorial debut.
In the clip, Swift crashes the wedding of her ex, played by Miles Teller. As the story unfolds, the groom is forced to confront both his feelings for Swift, and the future that he left behind with her.
Fans online are trying to piece together exactly who it is Swift is singing about in the track, and they think it’s Jake Gyllenhaal, who Swift dated for a few months in 2010.
There are a bunch of easter eggs cleverly strewn throughout the clip, including the top hat, which Swift wore in her ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ clip (which is rumoured to also be about Gyllenhaal), and the red scarf, which fans may recall has been mentioned before in her the lyrics of her track ‘All Too Well’.
