Watch The Temper Trap Take On Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s ‘Multi-Love’ For Like A Version

This week’s daily dose of pastiche from triple j’s Like A Version features the triumphantly returned Temper Trap. Following their original track Fall Together, the band delved deep into Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Multi-Love for a rendition that’s sure to give even Ruben Neilson himself pause.

An ode to polyamory and the complexities of love, Multi-Love, the title track from UMO’s latest album, is originally a brooding, recluse, locked in its bedroom as the acid wears off. The Temper Trap have added in a hefty dose of chirp to the jam, put it in the shower, gave it a shave and a coffee.

The Temper Trap are coming back swinging after a four-year breather. Back in February they released their first new single Thick As Thieves and it became fairly clear this is just what fans wanted. Soon after they revealed details for their brand new album and a run of headline shows throughout Sydney and Melbourne.
