The Killers have taken on David Bowie‘s classic ‘Fame’ in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
The Las Vegas band who are readying the release of their fifth album Wonderful Wonderful put their spin on the track that has been covered by everyone from Smashing Pumpkins to George Michael.
It’s not the first time the band has covered Bowie as they’ve previously taken on ‘Moonage Daydream’ and ‘Rock & Roll With Me’.
The Killers have long drawn comparisons to the legendary musician so it’s no surprise to hear them sound so comfortable covering ‘Fame’.
They also took on their own track ‘The Man’ in the Live Lounge, plucked from Wonderful Wonderful which will be released 22nd September.
Following that the band will play the AFL Grand Final on Saturday 30th September.
