Watch The Rolling Stones perform ‘Mercy Mercy’ for the first time since 1969

The Rolling Stones are in the middle of their North American tour, with Mick Jagger back on stage having recently recovered from heart surgery.

Jagger hasn’t missed a beat, and apart from some of the dates being rescheduled, the Stones are back and killing it.

Performing this week in Maryland, just outside Washington DC, the band performed a cover of ‘Mercy, Mercy’ by Don Covay & The Goodtimers – for the first time in 50 years!

The last time they performed the track was at Hyde Park in 1969.

“It’s a long time ago, so we’re going to try to remember it!” said Jagger.
