Watch The Trailer For Halsey’s Upcoming Film ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’

Towards the tail end of June, Halsey announced that they not only have a new baby on the way, but they’re also gearing up to release a new album: If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, it’s predicted to be an incredibly cinematic record. And what better way to embody that sentiment, than to put the music to an actual film.

The singer has today shared the trailer for the album’s accompanying film, also titled If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The film will be set to the music of the forthcoming album.

It will be an hour in length, and has been entirely written by Halsey and directed by her previous collaborator, Colin Tilley. The film will be released to select IMAX theatres over the US’ summer.

Halsey’s album will be released on Friday, 27th August via Capitol. It will be the follow up to their 2020 record, Manic.
