American hip hop duo Run The Jewels were joined onstage by none other than Rage Against The Machine‘s frontman Zack De la Rocha, and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, during their show last night at Los Angeles venue Echoplex.
De La Rocha, who raps on Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck), from Run The Jewels new album Run the Jewels 2, helped out with a live version of the song. Fan footage shows a beanie-wearing RATM frontman rapping alongside RTJ emcees El-P and Killer Mike, as the crowd goes totally nuts.
Barker also made an appearance, albeit separately from De La Rocha, for number All Due Respect. Again, Barker drums on the album version on the tune. An Instagram vid sees Barker showing-off his tight skills on the skins.
Run The Jewels’ latest LP was due for release in the 27th, October but the duo surprisingly leaked their own album a couple ahead of time, after learning Run the Jewels 2 had already been leaked.
RTJ are set to visit Australia as part of Falls Festival 2014/2015 and will also play two co-headlining shows with fellow Falls act Joey Bada$$.
