West Coast Blues N Roots Music Festival has revealed its lineup for 2015, and headlining next year’s event in WA is the John Butler Trio, alongside acts such as Paolo Nutini, David Gray, and Jurassic 5.
Helping round out the bill is Aus music icon Paul Kelly presenting the Merri Soul Sessions featuring Dan Sultan and others. Festival-goers will also be among the first to witness Xavier Rudd perform with his new eight-piece band the United Nations, pieced together from musicians across the globe.
Bringing more international flavour, not to mention the FUNK, is George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. While Chicago soul and gospel singer Mavis Staples, Jamaican reggae musician Jimmy Cliff, and Nashville bluesman Keb’ Mo’ help give the fest a wide appeal.
Other acts on the lineup include Lanie Lane, Beth Hart, and Kim Churchill, with local acts still to be announced. West Coast Blues N Roots Music Festival will take place at Fremantle Park on Sunday, 29th March. First release tickets go on sale from 9.00AM (WST) Tuesday, 18th November.
