Children of the ’90s rejoice for the drought has broken and out messiah Will “Big Willie Style” Smith has finally appeared in another music video following news of his collaboration with Bomba Estéreo on the remix of their track Fiesta.
Famous for his iconic video clips including Parent’s Just Don’t Understand, Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It, Men In Black and of course the unforgettable time traveling disaster that is Will 2K off the amazingly titled Willenium album, Smith has left us fans out in the cold for over a decade now as he has pursued a career in film, while raising two alien prophets from the future.
However for those of you hoping for a return to his loud late ’90s suits and outfits and cheesy dance moves you may be a little disappointed, as the video trades the shiny sets of Smith’s old videos for a grungy warehouse full of neon ravers. Styled to look like a ninja outfitted by Yeezus, Smith is all brooding, walking down long hallways like it’s a comedy central special, before throwing back his hood and announcing his presence with some aggressive rap styles. Seriously though, judging from this clip he might be taking a little too much advice from his kids.
This is the first taste of new music from Smith, who recently revealing to Zane Rowe on his Beats 1 radio show that he has 30 tracks recorded and ready to go. You can watch the video here below.
