WIN: Free Double Pass To D’Angelo’s Melbourne Show

Following sold-out shows across the globe, neo-soul superstar D’Angelo is bringing his epic Black Messiah tour down under in a couple of weeks, appearing at the jam-packed Bluesfest as well as headline shows across the country including a gig at the Palais in Melbourne, which Music Feeds has a sneaky double pass to, up for grabs!

Marking his return to music following a hiatus of over a decade, D’Angelo’s latest album Black Messiah has been hailed as a tour de force. Debuting at number five on the Billboard 200 in the first weeks of its release, the album was also nominated for a 2016 Grammy for Best R&B Album. D’Angelo also nabbed himself a nom for Best R&B Song and Record of the Year for the album’s track Really Love.

The shows will be his first Australian visit since his appearance at 2014’s Soulfest and judging from recent reports from his US tour, D’Angelo has tightened things up into a well oiled neo-soul funk machine, with The New Yorker likening him to James Brown and calling him a “funk-and-soul-revue taskmaster”.
