Woodford Folk Festival Announces Folkin’ Huge 2017/2018 Lineup

Woodford Folk Festival is returning to folk shit up this holiday season with a mega lineup of crooners and string-slingers.

This summer’s folk-fuelled New Years bash will be headlined by the one and only John Butler (sans trio), with plenty of other huge homegrown names in toe including Kate Miller-Heidke, Montaigne, Holy Holy, The Beautiful Girls, plus Husky, The Babe Rainbow, Sampa The Great, POW! Negro.

There’s also the usual smattering of internationals including Canada’s The East Pointers, Ireland’s Breaking Trad, America’s Molsky’s Mountain Drifters and more than 200 other acts.

As always, this year’s event will feature music, dance, cabaret, circus, comedy, workshops, debate, street theatre, films, forums, visual arts, and even an entire festival just for the kids.

The Sunshine Coast event will run from Wednesday, 27th December 2017 til Monday, 1st December 2018.
