The nominees have been announced for this year’s Mercury Prize, highlighting the best albums in British and Irish music.
Alt-J‘s Relaxer and The xx‘s I See You have both been nominated giving the acts a chance to take out the prize for the second time.
Other big names nominated include Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Glass Animals and Sampha.
There are also a bunch of newbies who have nabbed a nomination for debut albums including Loyle Carner, J HUS, The Big Moon and Blossoms.
The prize was taken out last year by Sketpa’s Konnichiwa which beat out David Bowie’s final album Blackstar.
Previous winners also include Alt-J, James Blake, The xx and Young Fathers.
This year’s winner will be crowned in a ceremony on 14th September.
